Innocent but charming,
your happiness hiding,
risk to inquire, darling!
for a kiss you’re asking!

It is a song’s subtle echo,
a sacred paean, I’d reckon,
that birds can’t chant, nor sing along.

A sweet, lovely language it is
our hearts discussing is a kiss,
their feelings with consent they mix
just as flowers do with their whiff.

A kiss is—don’t you dare!
You’re really not aware?
Then, our lips shall both swear
that a kiss will be shared!
